Darcy Rezac

Darcy RezacDarcy Rezac, is managing director emeritus of The Vancouver Board of Trade, an internationally recognized business association. A science graduate of McGill University and MBA from The John Molson School of Business, Darcy has held executive positions with the Canadian federal government, Alcan and General Motors. He writes, speaks and consults on social capital, leadership, Positive Networking® and corporate & employee engagement with business, governments and universities worldwide. Darcy’s client list includes HSBC Bank (Hong Kong, Canada, and UK), The World Chamber Congress (Istanbul 2007), US Chamber of Commerce, US Government Federal Executive Board Seattle, RBC Financial Group, Canadian National Railway and the Hong Kong SAR Government.  Did Darcy invent networking?

Gayle Hallgren-Rezac

Gayle Hallgren-Rezac is entrepreneur (founder, Cookies by George) and a recipient of the YWCA Woman of Distinction award. Gayle is a graduate of the University of British Columbia and has spent over two decades observing and writing on networking around the world. She is a member of the Davos Circle, having attended the Annual World Economic Forum over eleven times. She is also an expert on the “art of conversation”.  Gayle and Judy have given hundreds of presentations to corporations, associations, governments, and have worked extensively with university students from undergrads to MBAs and PhDs. Judy Thomson

Judy Thomson HeadshotJudy Thomson is a chartered professional accountant (chartered accountant) who has held executive positions in human resources and administration with global companies in Canada and Asia. She was also part of the start-up management team of the world-famous Rocky Mountaineer Railtours. Judy is an honoured alumni of The Vancouver Board of Trade’s Women’s Leadership Circle® advisory council (after serving six years as vice-chair), spent eight years as a director of the BC Women’s Enterprise Centre and is a director of a publicly-traded mining exploration company. Judy and Gayle’s list of corporate clients include RBC Financial Group, RBC Dominion Securities, ScotiaBank, Microsoft, Penguin, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, TD Canada Trust, TELUS and many more. Read Judy’s thoughts about learning how to network the hard way.
